lots of lovely » fashion. lifestyle. home.

It’s official. The leaf imprinted, “Warmly, Fall” Starbucks cups have been making their way around my instagram feed now for over a week and I can absolutely say that I’ve jumped on board. Who doesn’t love a good plaid scarf, worn in leather riding boots, and pumpkin scented candles seated at every room’s entrance in your household? There’s just something about this time of the year that makes you want to stay home and snuggle up. Since I’ve been married, I have definitely been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit but the holidays have always been a time for me to stay home and be with family…well, this year seems to be a different story. In the next six weeks, I’ll be in Colorado, Vegas, and Europe…(yes, you read that right, Paris and London, here I come! You better bet your bottom dollar I will be bringing my camera to document this trip!) so my time to make the home feel and smell like an autumn breeze is now. I can’t say I’m completely done rearranging because my #neversatisfied brain likes to constantly move things around just for the heck of it but I am super happy with my little fall vignettes and wanted to share my home’s new look with you. Happy fall, be kind and be blessed.

I’ve mentioned this before but I’ll say it again…tis the season for weddings for me this year! I was one of the first of all of my friends to get married so this year (and next) seem to be the time for all of my girlfriends to celebrate such special times in their lives. This past weekend, I was honored to cohost a lovely shower (if I do say so myself) for my sweet friend with two of my coworkers. Working in the wedding industry definitely has its perks and for this special bride to be…they came together in perfect harmony. I don’t know how many times you get a gorgeous wedding venue as the backdrop of the bridal shower with a professional photographer friend to document the entire event. It was like “WOW” to say the least! I had the idea to do a “Flower Crown Bar” as a sort of take home favor station and wasn’t exactly sure how it would go over in reality (all of the bridal party and bride are wearing flower crowns for the wedding day so I knew the bride to be would love it!). Well, let me just tell you that guests ranging from age 5 to 70 took part in making their own floral crown and we all wore them the entire time, so cute!! Other than the Texas heat (sheesh!) that attempted to damper our high shower spirits, this day went off flawlessly. Take a moment on this {almost} fall evening to take in the prettiness that is this bridal shower.

Special thanks to Tuscan Courtyard for providing such a fabulous venue and to the oh so talented Ling Wang Photography for these special photos.

Hi there!

Here are a few of my finds from my road trip to Waco, Tx. A few girlfriends and I hopped in the car, spent the day out on the open road, and couldn’t have asked for a better trip! We set out to go to Magnolia Market and ended up adding to our shopping adventure by going to Spice as well…a charming store in downtown Waco that houses individually owned booths that carry home décor, clothing, and accessories. It was fabulous and I’m so glad we took the recommendation of a friend to go to both places. Hope you enjoy all of my lovely finds!
