Anyone else a superfan of Chip and Joanna Gaines? Let me tell you, I am. They are the infectious couple that star in the HGTV show Fixer Upper. From the moment I saw their shiplap loving, all white kitchen style with a mix of old and new, I was hooked. I bought this clock from their Waco, Tx based shop called Magnolia Market. I haven’t committed to which wall in the house I want it to be place on so for now, its found a home on my buffet with my new Willow and Mei print “God Bless Texas”…I mean, come on, who doesn’t love a Texas inspired print with a few fresh flowers to boot. Enjoy, my friends!

Anyone else in a major Spring cleaning mode right now?! I think I get to springtime each year and want to either purge old and unused items or rearrange so I can give new life to them. My simple breakfast nook was first on the list to rearrange and give a little sprucing to for the warmer weather we’ve been having outdoors. My sweet friend Katie Lamb (creative mastermind and multiple business owner) sent me over a few of her fabulous prints from her newest business venture Willow and Mei (she built this website for me!) and this is the first one to find its place in our home. Don’t we all need a little “chin up, buttercup” reminder from time to time? I think so. Enjoy this simple and pretty space!

I live in the ‘burbs. Like, the real burbs where you have to drive to go anywhere and the trendiest thing we have is a new HEB set to make its debut in in the Fall of 2015. You have to go to the city if you want to go to trendy places like Whole Foods or Torchy’s Tacos (let’s be honest Houstonians, could a day go wrong if these two things were involved?). Well, when I work weddings I’m all over the city and often times end up in cool little locations where I’m able to take advantage of their hip spots and the other day, I did just that: hopped on into Whole Foods to pick up some springy florals and this little bag caught my eye. “Hello Beauty” perched perfectly on the outside of a canvas zipped bag with goodies inside? Oh yeah, that’s going in my cart. I came home and found the cutest travel sized beauty products (all listed below) in this little bag and can’t wait to try them all out!

1. Derma E. Microdermabrasion Scrub

2. Acure Cell Stimulating Facial Mask

3. Trilogy Vital Moisturizing Cream

4. Gabriel Mascara

5. Giovanni 2chic Blackberry & Coconut Milk Ultra-Repair Shampoo

6. Pacifica Eye Shadow Duo

7. RIJI Beauty bag
