lots of lovely » fashion. lifestyle. home.

A girlfriend of mine was recently needing help sprucing up her entryway table and had bought a few things here and there but lacked vision for the whole piece. Her birthday was coming up and I decided to take matters into my own hands and purchase the remaining pieces that would complete the entire look. To me, the entry sets the tone for the rest of the house. It should be inviting and welcoming; and should give your guests a taste test, if you will, about the style of the home. Her home is full of gorgeous contrasting neutrals and I thought the entryway table should consist of the same style. All she needs to do is fill up those picture frames with snapshots of her gorgeous family and she will be good to go. I’ll credit below where she or I bought the items if you feel the need to recreate! Enjoy!

Hi there!!

Ahhh I can’t believe this is my first ever blog post!! So glad you somehow stumbled across me here at lots of lovely!  I just got married. My husband and I just bought a house. And a dog. And I’ve been documenting our new life through my Instagram (@candicehollub; follow me!) and I’ve received an incredible amount of positive feedback about my styling of our home and new life together. My mother in law suggested a long time ago for me to start blog and I just didn’t think I had anything of worth to blog about but now that I’ve gotten a confidence boost from my Instagram followers, I figure I’ve got nothing to lose but to try it! This blog will capture LIFESTYLE + BEAUTY + HOME in all its forms. From gift giving to hair fixing and self tanners to DIY projects, I will share my successes (like my Target milk crate woven baskets that perfectly fit my custom hubby-made desk) and my blunders (like attempting mashed potatoes for the first time and mistakenly thinking a cheese slicer was a potato peeler). I will be a self deprecating host of a blog that will encompass my love for life, beauty, and the home. Considering my two social media loves are Instagram and Pinterest, I can think of no better way to introduce myself to you than through a few snapshots of my lovely life.

Here a few things I love:
